6. Client Responsibility for Hosted Website Content
WebEasy Pty Ltd provides standard brochure website hosting. Our server environment is not configured to store sensitive health records, medical databases, or complex e-commerce user profiles. It is the Client’s sole responsibility to ensure that their individual website front-end forms and local site databases do not collect or store prohibited sensitive user information in breach of our Terms of Service.
7. Intellectual Property & Copyright Notice
    • 7.1 WebEasy Intellectual Property: All content, graphics, code, layouts, and software solutions displayed on webeasy.com.au are the exclusive property of WebEasy Pty Ltd and are protected under the Australian Copyright Act 1968. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.
    • 7.2 Client Website Ownership: Upon full payment of all final website design invoices, copyright of the custom-designed visual layout and text content of a client's website transfers to the Client. WebEasy Pty Ltd retains ownership of any pre-existing source code, background frameworks, or third-party licenses utilized to build the site.
    • 7.3 Copyright Indemnity: The Client guarantees that all text, images, logos, and materials provided to WebEasy Pty Ltd for inclusion on their website are owned by the Client or that the Client has obtained lawful permission to use them. The Client agrees to indemnify WebEasy Pty Ltd against any copyright infringement claims arising from materials supplied by the Client. [1]
